The expansion of AlHaram AlMadani – the second grand Masjid for Muslims around the world.

This is one of the major infrastructure projects at KSA- Middle East that ALJ has had the opportunity to contribute to.

Gensler-UK is the Urban Designer and the Project Architect.
WSP Middle East- Structural, Civil, and MEP Engineer.
ALJ – Sydney is the structural engineer peer reviewer and value engineer.

The project consists of 3.5 KM of deep traffic and utility tunnels that form up half-circle around AlMasjid AlNabawi. The proposed infrastructure develops 1.5M square meters of urban land comprised of 263 Hotels that provide 84,500 hotel rooms to serve the visitors of AlMasjid AlNabawi AlSharif. The project is one of the PIF initiatives for the KSA 2030 vision. ALJ Engineers is very delighted to participate and provide our services to turn this vision into a reality.
